Dowgal Community Association Services (DCAS) is a services company. DCAS is a division of Dowgal, LLC. We don’t call ourselves a management company because we believe the true managers – are you, the client. This company was formed to put the control of how a community functions back into the hands of the residents. We work with our clients to determine what their goals are and how we can assist.
It’s fairly common to hear negative opinions about HOAs. We don’t deny that the stigma is there but what we also found is that the stigma people associate with HOAs actually is rooted in the company that represents the HOA itself.
It’s common to see an HOA address and contact information be the same as the management company. The HOA’s website is just a “portal” inside the management company’s own website. To contact the HOA, you have to contact the management company. The management company has essentially become the HOA and the volunteer board members are simply told what to do, when to show up at a meeting, and what their limits are. Not at DCAS. We empower HOA’s to be in control with us as your back office. We don’t want to be the face of your community, we want to help you shine all on your own. We create custom websites with your community’s unique character, build communications like email and other contact methods that are yours permanently, and work as your services provider to make sure your residents are put first.
