Current Projects being managed by Dowgal Community Association Services Project Management
No HOA Board Member wants to get a late night call that there’s been an accident involving the Association’s common areas. These things do happen unfortunately and when they do, who will you call? You’ll want a partner that can handle the situation so it doesn’t become a crisis. A partner that can quickly get to the scene, conduct an investigation, get insurance information, and get straight to work. We will quickly respond and gather information and get your project moving quickly to reduce impact to your residents. The incident showcased below occurred on one of our client’s sites late on 2/29/2024 and we immediately got to work. We’ll showcase the project photos below.
Entrance Monument Accident - Repair/Rebuilding
The very next morning after the accident, 3/1/2024, we were on scene documenting the damage and meeting with witnesses and impacted homeowners. We kept the board in the loop as the day progressed. We obtained the driver’s insurance information and immediately reached out to the carrier to inform them of our pending claim. We then arranged for and oversaw the initial site cleanup. Our vendors were onsite the next business day performing debris removal and others were assessing damage to provide estimates. We scheduled an emergency board meeting for 5 business days later in which we would provide our findings.
Eliminating debris is a priority for the safety of residents. Also, a debris filled entrance is not very inviting.
Because we work hard to cultivate strong alliances with our vendors, we were able to get the debris removed and privacy screen installed by the third business day after the accident. The site was now ready for our contractors to begin repair work. The vendor we used for cleanup, who did an amazing job by the way, is All American Lawn & Tree Specialists.
On the 6th business day, the Association Board of Directors met and approved our project management plan and we set the wheels in motion to get the entrance back to normal. Quotes were approved, deposits were facilitated and the masonry/concrete contractor was onsite by the 10th business day getting the monument ready for repair work to begin.
Our masonry/concrete vendor ITM Construction is now working on-site everyday to repair and rebuild the entrance wall. Next step is material delivery and the start of masonry.
Repair work is well underway at our client’s site. Masonry is scheduled to be completed next week and upper cap will be poured in place. Extensive documentation has been submitted on the insurance claim with the driver’s carrier for reimbursement. The new granite face has been ordered. We’re excited to see the progress!
